Kali nie aku malas nak banyak cerita..

Sila layan gambar dan bayangkan.. Ulang sebut.. Bayangkan sahaja setiap laluan itu ye.. ;)

Panduan peta perjalanan; A : Crianlarich, B: Bridge of Orchy, C: Glencoe, D: Onich dan E : Fort William

Crianlarich Railway Viaduct

Crianlarich Railway Station
Crianlarich (Scottish Gaelic: A' Chrìon Làraich) is a village in Stirling district, Scotland, about six miles north-east of the head of Loch Lomond. Until 1975, it was in the historic county of Perthshire. The village's name derives from the Gaelic for "low pass", relating to its geographical location.

Crianlarich has been a major crossroads for north and westbound journeys in Scotland since mediaeval times. In the 1750s, two military roads met in the village; in the 19th century, it became a railway junction on what is now the West Highland Line; in the 20th century it became the meeting point of the major A82 and A85 roads. As such, it is designated a primary destination in Scotland, signposted from as far as Glasgow in the south, Perth in the east, Oban in the west and Fort William in the north. The village bills itself "the gateway to the Highlands"

Fort William lagi 48 batu

 Memasuki daerah Argyll & Bute
Photo almost end of winter and early spring Feb 2010

Lokasi yang sama; Autumn October 2010
Ada beza tak?

Berhampiran Bridge of Orchy
Nampak tak dwi tulisan tuh?
Yang warna hijau itu adalah tulisan Gaelic

Bridge of Orchy lies on the A82, the main road up the west side of the central highlands. For the motorist heading north it is little more than a small collection of mostly white buildings grouped around the Bridge of Orchy Hotel. And for most it is only briefly glimpsed in passing as thoughts start to leap ahead to the surreal landscape of Rannoch Moor and the majesty of Glen Coe

Melalui Rannoch Moor
Photo Feb 2010

Rannoch Moor (Scottish Gaelic: Mòinteach Raineach/Raithneach)is a large expanse of around 50 square miles (130 km²) of boggy moorland to the west of Loch Rannoch, in Perth and Kinross and Lochaber, Highland, partly northern Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Rannoch Moor is designated a National Heritage site.

Same location of Rannoch Moor in Autumn October 2010

Baca jelah..

End of winter yang putih biru kelabu

Jangan buang sampah

Glen Coe (Scottish Gaelic: Gleann Comhann, pronounced [klan̪ˠˈkʰo.ən̪ˠ]) is a glen in the Highlands of Scotland. It lies in the southern part of the Lochaber committee area of Highland Council, and was formerly part of the county of Argyll.

It is often considered one of the most spectacular and beautiful places in Scotland, and is a part of the designated National Scenic Area of Ben Nevis and Glen Coe. The narrow glen shows a grim grandeur. The glen, approaching from the east on the main A82 road, is surrounded by wild and precipitous mountains. Further west at Invercoe, the landscape has a softer beauty before the main entrance to the glen. The main settlement is the village of Glencoe.

Glencoe Mountain is the grand-daddy of the Scottish skiing resorts, being the country's first commercial area to open with a ski lift in 1956. But this position at the head of the family of five resorts does not mean that Glencoe Mountain is in any way old-fangled.

Glencoe pada musim Autumn
Berbeza kan pandangannya ;)

Singgah di Glen Etive
Glen itu maknanya lembah ;)
A glen is a valley, typically one that is long, deep, and often glacially U-shaped; or one with a watercourse running through such a valley. Whittow defines it as a "Scottish term for a deep valley in the Highlands" that is "narrower than a strath."

Glen Etive (Scottish Gaelic: Gleann Eite) is a glen in the Highlands of Scotland. The River Etive rises on the peaks surrounding Rannoch Moor, with several tributary streams coming together at the Kings House Hotel, at the head of Glen Coe. From the Kings House, the Etive flows for about 18 km, reaching the sea loch, Loch Etive. The river and its tributaries are popular with whitewater kayakers and at high water levels it is a test piece of the area and a classic run.

Onich
Dah nak sampai Fort William
Pemandangan sekitar Onich nie memang cantik berlatar belakangkan Loch Leven..

Onich - at one time Ounich - (Gaelic: Omhanaich) is a settlement on the east shore of Loch Linnhe, Scotland and, together with North Ballachulish at the entrance to Loch Leven, forms Nether Lochaber.

Welcome to Fort william

Fort William (Scottish Gaelic: An Gearasdan, "The Garrison" pronounced [ən ˈkʲɛrəs̪t̪ən]) is the largest town in the highlands of Scotland only being exceeded in size by the City of Inverness.

Fort William is a major tourist centre with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the north and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. It is an important centre for hillwalking and climbing due to its proximity to Ben Nevis and many other Munro mountains, marketing itself as the "Outdoor Capital of the UK". It is also known for its nearby downhill mountain bike track and its connection to the West Highland Way from Glasgow and the Great Glen Way; a walk/cycle way from Inverness to Fort William through the Great Glen.

Pekan Fort William
