Sambungan dari sini

Dari Fort Augustus, kita akan melalui beberapa kawasan hutan dan perkampungan kecil seperti Portclair, Invermoriston, Altsigh, Balbeg, Bunloit dan Lenie.

Port Clair is a mixed planted conifer forest on the slopes overlooking the southern end of Loch Ness. There are stands of magnificent, mature Douglas fir trees which, along with other areas, are being managed as 'continuous cover forests'. There are spectacular views over the Great Glen from Port Clair.
Invermoriston (Inbhir Mhoireastain in Gaelic) (grid reference NH420167) is a small village 7 miles north of Fort Augustus, Highland, Scotland. The village is on the A82 road, at a junction with the A887. The village's most visited attraction is the Thomas Telford bridge, built in 1813, which crosses the spectacular River Moriston falls. This bridge used to form part of the main road between Drumnadrochit and Fort Augustus but was replaced in the 1930s with the new bridge used today.
Selepas sahaja pekan Fort Augustus.. Kita akan nampak tasik Loch Ness sepanjang 27 batu (kat UK nie tak pakai KM ok.. semua pakai Miles.. sila convert sendiri kalau anda drive di UK)..

Loch Ness
Cantik kan ;)

Loch Ness (pronounced /ˌlɒx ˈnɛs/, Scottish Gaelic: Loch Nis) is a large, deep, freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands extending for approximately 37 km (23 mi) southwest of Inverness. Its surface is 15.8 m (52 ft) above sea level.

Loch Ness is best known for the alleged sightings of the cryptozoological Loch Ness Monster, also known affectionately as "Nessie". It is connected at the southern end by the River Oich and a section of the Caledonian Canal to Loch Oich. At the northern end there is the Bona Narrows which opens out into Loch Dochfour, which feeds the River Ness and a further section of canal to Inverness. It is one of a series of interconnected, murky bodies of water in Scotland; its water visibility is exceptionally low due to a high peat content in the surrounding soil.
Menghampiri penghujung Loch Ness ini, kita akan jumpa istana Urquhart..

Boleh masuk parking kat sekitar kawasan istana nie..

Urquhart Castle Panorama
(from wikipedia)
Urquhart Castle sits beside Loch Ness in Scotland along the A82 road, between Fort William and Inverness. It is close to the village of Drumnadrochit. Though extensively ruined, it was in its day one of the largest strongholds of medieval Scotland, and remains an impressive structure, splendidly situated on a headland overlooking Loch Ness. It is also near this castle that the majority of Nessie (Loch Ness Monster) sightings occur.
Tak jauh dari 'Urquhart Castle'
Lebih kurang 2 batu..
Kita akan jumpa Loch Ness Exhibition Centre pulak
Boleh lawat http://www.lochness.com/ kalau nak tahu info lebih mendalam lagi

Tempat parking Loch Ness Exhibition Centre

The Loch Ness Monster Visitor Centre
Boleh dapatkan info pasal Loch Ness Monster

The Original Loch Ness Monster Visitor Centre presents the evidence that exists to date of Nessie through legend, photographs and film of sightings. There is a coffee shop, gift shop and a big plastic Nessie for the kids to play on.

The Loch Ness Centre
Apa ada kat sini??
Biasalah info pasal Loch Ness..
Ada juga jual souvenier..
Bolehlah singgah cuci mata dan rehat2kan badan lepas penat driving tadi kan..

The Loch Ness Exhibition Centre, also called Loch Ness 2000, is a five star rated visitor attraction in the downstairs of what was the Drumnadrochit Hotel; the hotel is now housed in the modern buildings on the same site. This is the more recent of the two exhibitions. It takes a more investigative look at the myth of the Loch Ness Monster as it presents the evidence through audio visual presentations in seven rooms. There's a lot of detail in the films and it might not be so good for younger visitors, although there is a downloadable work pack available for children which could help get the most out of the exhibitions. It a thought provoking exhibition and it's interesting to see how some of the most familiar images we have of the Loch Ness Monster have been disproved or appear unlikely. Seeing as the Loch Ness Project has been based in the same hotel for 20 years it's perhaps not surprising that this is the more scientific of the two exhibitions. The rest of the hotel complex is choc full of Nessie and Scottish themed gifts in the various shops.

Nessie terperangkap dalam tasik beku
;)

The Loch Ness Monster (Scottish Gaelic Niseag) is a cryptid that is reputed to inhabit Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. The most frequent speculation is that the creature represents a line of long-surviving plesiosaurs. It is similar to other supposed lake monsters in Scotland and elsewhere, though its description varies from one account to the next. Popular interest and belief in the animal has varied since it was brought to the world's attention in 1933. Evidence of its existence is anecdotal, with minimal and much-disputed photographic material and sonar readings. The scientific community regards the Loch Ness Monster as a modern-day myth, and explains sightings as a mix of hoaxes and wishful thinking. Despite this, it remains one of the most famous examples of cryptozoology. The legendary monster has been affectionately referred to by the nickname Nessie (Scottish Gaelic: Niseag) since the 1950s.

Braveheart Visitor Centre.

Behind the Loch Ness Visitor Centre is The Braveheart Centre. This highlights some of the significant battles of Scotland such as the War of Independence in which Robert the Bruce beat the English forces at Bannockburn in 1314. It also tells the story of William Wallace and his resistance to the English.

Ok selesai melawat visitor centre dan ambil feeling jumpa naga...
Kita teruskan perjalanan..

Hampir tiba ke Inverness
Capital of the Highland of Scotland

Inverness (Scottish Gaelic: Inbhir Nis pronounced [iɲɪɾʲˈniʃ], English: Mouth of the River Ness is a city in the Scottish Highlands. It is the administrative centre for the Highland council area, and is regarded as the capital of the Highlands of Scotland.

Inverness is situated at the mouth of the River Ness (which flows from nearby Loch Ness) and at the southwestern extremity of the Moray Firth. The city lies at the end of the Great Glen with Loch Ness, Loch Ashie and Loch Duntelchaig to the west. Inverness' Caledonian Canal also runs through the Great Glen connecting Loch Ness, Loch Oich, and Loch Lochy.

Cairn Gorm (Cairngorm) (Gaelic: An Càrn Gorm, meaning Blue or Green Hill) is a mountain in the Scottish Highlands overlooking Strathspey and the town of Aviemore. At 1245 metres (4084 ft) it is the sixth highest mountain in the United Kingdom. It has given its name to the whole range, although these hills are properly known as Am Monadh Ruadh (the Red Hills) rather than the Cairngorms. Cairn Gorm is the most prominent of the Cairngorm mountains in the view from Speyside, but it is not the highest.

Much of the north-western slopes of the mountain are downhill skiing developments concentrated in Coire Cas. As well as ski tows, snow fences and bulldozed tracks, this corrie is also now home to a funicular railway.

Canal du Midi,
Toulouse France.

The Canal du Midi (Occitan: Canal de las Doas Mars, meaning canal of the two seas) is a 240 km (150 mi) long canal in Southern France. The canal connects the Garonne River to the Étang de Thau on the Mediterranean and along with the Canal de Garonne forms the Canal des Deux Mers joining the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. The canal runs from the city of Toulouse down to the Mediterranean port of Sète—which was founded to serve as the eastern terminus of the canal. The Canal du Midi was built by Pierre-Paul Riquet. It was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.
